Consent comes first

Tadda is built on consent. Nobody should appear in a gift without knowing and agreeing to it, and everyone who is filmed keeps control of their image.

This page explains how we handle consent and image rights, what we expect of organizers and participants, and how to object to appearing. The data controller is [legal entity name].

Getting consent from people you film

If you record or upload a video showing other people, you're responsible for their agreement. Before you share:

  • Clearly ask the people you film whether they're happy to be recorded and to appear in the gift.
  • Explain who the gift is for and who will be able to watch it.
  • Don't include anyone who has asked not to appear.

This mutual respect is what makes a Tadda gift a joyful moment for everyone.

If you appear in a Tadda film

You stay in control of your image. If someone has included you in a gift, you can confirm your agreement or object to it.

Where it applies, we send you a personal link to give or refuse your consent, no account, no install. Your rights are protected by the applicable image-rights law: [applicable likeness and image-rights law].

How to object or withdraw

Changing your mind is always possible. If you received a consent link, use it to object to your appearance; otherwise, write to us and we'll handle it.

When you object, we work to remove your image from the affected gift, as far as is technically possible, and confirm it to you.

Children and guardians

A child may only appear in a gift, or contribute to one, with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

If you're a parent or guardian and want a child removed from a gift, contact us and we'll act quickly.

AI touches and your image

Some gifts use optional, AI-assisted enhancements, for example to stabilise a video or clean up the audio. They elevate your gift; they never fabricate people or words.

Anything enhanced is clearly labelled, and we never use your image to train AI.

Removing a video

You can ask us to remove a video in which you appear. Participants can also withdraw their own contribution from the link they received.

Just tell us which gift it is, and we'll help you sort it out.
